A Letter from Kenya
by Richard Pitt
I recently got back from Kenya where I was working at the Kenya School for Integrated Medicine, the only homeopathic training program in most of Africa. South Africa is the only other country offering professional training. It offers a three year full time training program with a potential capacity of 150 students. The inspiration behind the school is a Dutch homeopath called Marie Magre, who has been living in Kenya for the last seven years and has two adopted Kenyan daughters. She began the school after working with Homeopathy without Borders on some homeopathy projects and since then has been living and working full time on the project.

Systemic and Mindful: An Integrative Process of Homeopathy and Psychotherapy for Self-Fulfillment
by Kenneth Silvestri Ed.D., CCH, April 22, 2014
What follows is an example of how I work as a systemic therapist having had a private practice for the past thirty years and integrating it with classical homeopathy over the last fifteen years. Although I don’t expect you to replicate my process, I share it in order for you to take what may be useful whether as a therapist, homeopath, or just an inquiring mind. I have done this many times, learning from others relevant to my individual temperament and style. In the end we are all connected and interacting on this planetary journey.

ABSTRACT:
Angina pectoris is a clinical condition resulting from deficient supply of oxygen to the muscles of the heart and is precipitated by intense emotions or strenuous physical activities. The condition is managed by the coronary artery dilators. Here is a case, where the efficacy of homoeopathic similimum is evident in case of Angina Pectoris. The role of homoeopathic medicine came into play due to unavailability of the conventional drug and paucity of health care resources.

Sarcodes
by Richard Pitt
Abstract
Sarcodes are medicines made from organ material. They include Adrenalinum, Hypothalamus, Histaminum, Thyroidinum, Pituitary gland and Anterior and Posterior pituitary. These medicines can be used simply to address specific symptom pictures, and also to help support organs that may be responsible for certain symptom complexes. They may be used to complement constitutional medicines if they are not fully resolving issues.
This is an extract from a forthcoming book called Comparative Materia Medica: Integrating New and Old Remedies by Richard Pitt.
